I’m posting not only Lissa’s quote but also her commentary. 

Patience is so difficult for me.  Maybe it’s because I’m one of those who need to be constantly in motion.   

For those who follow me – how do ya’ll deal with patience?

 

Patience

“Patience is necessary, and one cannot reap immediately where one has sown.”

It is easy to understand that patience is important, and even necessary – but why is being patient such a hard thing to do?!  It seems so contradictory to what we have learned about taking action… and yet, it is equally as essential.  There is a time when we must sit back and do nothing, when we must allow nature to take its course and not impose our human conditions and expectations upon it.  Being patient involves having faith, that inner knowingness that all is as it is because it is.
